Original artwork created specifically for your space.

Work directly with Canadian artist Elaine Dilay to create an original piece designed around your space, scale, colour palette and surroundings. Each commission combines your vision with Elaine’s distinctive artistic style, resulting in a one-of-a-kind work created exclusively for you.

Elaine accepts a limited number of commissions each year. Most commissioned pieces require approximately 2–6 weeks to complete, depending on the scope of the artwork and current studio schedule.

How It Works

1. Art Consultation

The process begins with a conversation about your space and what you envision. Send Elaine photographs of the room or wall, approximate dimensions and any colours, materials or existing Elaine Dilay artwork that inspires you.

Consultations can take place in your home or business, at Elaine’s Niverville studio, or virtually.

2. Size, Design & Pricing

Together, you’ll explore the appropriate size, colour palette, movement and overall direction for your artwork.

Commission pricing is determined by the size, medium, complexity and whether a custom-sized panel or canvas is required. Once the scope of the project has been established, you’ll receive pricing for your commissioned piece.

A 20% deposit secures your commission and reserves its place in Elaine’s studio schedule.

3. Creating Your Artwork

This is where your piece comes to life.

Drawing on years of experience working with homeowners, interior designers, decorators and luxury home builders, Elaine has developed a strong eye for colour, proportion and how artwork interacts with an interior.

During the creative process, you’ll receive progress photographs and updates. For multilayer resin commissions, this provides an opportunity to see the direction of the artwork as it develops.

The final piece will reflect the colours and overall direction established during the consultation while remaining unmistakably an original Elaine Dilay work.

4. Pickup, Delivery & Shipping

Complimentary pickup is available from Elaine’s studio in Niverville, Manitoba.

Delivery is available throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas for an additional fee. Shipping is also available throughout Canada and the USA, with a personalized quote provided based on the size and destination of the artwork.

5. Professional Installation

Professional installation can also be arranged for clients in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.

Each installation is individually quoted based on the artwork, wall construction and location. Your original artwork will be carefully positioned and professionally installed in your space.
