Original artwork created specifically for your space.

Work directly with the Artist to plan art in the size, colours and flow that aligns with your unique home or business. You are basically hiring the artist to work on artwork that will belong to you. It is a process but comes with beautiful results. If this interests you please continue to read on.

  • Elaine takes on a select amount of commissions each year - so inquire now as most take 4-8 weeks to complete depending on availability of supplies and prior commitments.

How it Works:

  1. Schedule a Art Consultation. This can be done by emailing Elaine at artistelainedilay@gmail.com. Please describe what you have in mind and include photos of the space or wall you desire artwork for. If you already have a size in mind please let me know. Many clients include pictures of my previous work that they also love or may want to include anything that could be used as inspiration. Many art consultations take place in the clients space, in my home studio in Niverville or by zoom.

  2. Cost. All original artwork is an investment. This is not to be compared to purchasing a print or a mass produced art piece from a big box store. There is great value in original artwork that comes with the expertise of a Artist that has worked tirelessly to perfect their medium. Cost per piece will be discussed either at the consultation or shortly afterwards. Prices are based on the size of the piece, intricate design and if the sizes are stock sizes or need to be custom built to work in the space. Sometimes a discount is given when many works of art are ordered at the same time. I do not work with your budget, the prices are simply what they are. A deposit of 20% is taken before your commission is scheduled to begin. Commissions are paid by cash, cheque or e-transfer. Receipts will be issued via Quickbooks.

  3. Design process. Together we will discuss the artwork design, colors and flow that you desire. I have a good track record for colour matching and an eye for interior decorating after years of working with designers, decorators and luxury home builders. Clients often refer to my previous work for inspiration or items in their home or corporate space that they want to tie in together. Once I begin creating you will be sent updates by email which include photos after the first layer of resin art has been applied. Then we can discuss if the piece is on track and if any big or small changes are preferred. My goal is to provide you with a beautiful, unique piece of artwork that also aligns with my personal resin style and brand. I hope that makes sense.

  4. Art Delivery or Pick Up. If you are local to Winnipeg or surrounding areas art delivery will be an option. Just ask Elaine what the cost will be. Art pick up is from Elaine’s home studio located in Niverville and will come with no charge. If artwork needs to be shipped within Canada or to the US you will be given a quote so you know what to expect regarding cost and timeline.

  5. Art Install. If you are interested in having your artwork installed please ask for a quote. Each space is unique so I do not offer a set price for install. Many clients have used this service. My husband Chris does the installs as he has worked in home renovations for over 15 years. He is detailed and handles your original artwork with great care.
